Commencement is Saturday, May 22, 2010 at Cox Stadium, rain or shine. Graduates must be lined up by 12, Noon. The procession begins at 12:15PM. The Commencement ceremony begins promptly at 1:00PM.
Five graduation tickets per graduate will be issued at the time of rental. If you do not need all five, leave any extras with the Bookstore.
*A sign up sheet will be available if you need extra tickets.*
Graduates keep the cap and tassel. Gown and hood must be returned after the ceremony by 5PM. A $3.00 late fee will be added for each business day the gown and hood are not returned, starting on June 2, 2010.
(Return the gown and hood May 24,25,26: No Late Fee)
(Return the gown and hood June 2 or later: $3.00 Late Fee each business day)
SFSU and the bookstore are CLOSED Thursday May 27th through Tuesday June 1st for Campus-wide Furlough.

If you cannot come to the Bookstore during these hours, a friend may rent the cap and gown for you. He or she must bring a letter from you and a photocopy of your Student I.D.

You may also order your cap and gown by phone, (415) 338-2665, with a valid MasterCard, Visa, or American Express card; a $15 service charge will be added to the rental fees. Call between Monday, May 10 - Thursday, May 20, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm. Apparel ordered by phone prior to that deadline can be picked up at the Bookstore on Friday, May 21nd.

Academic regalia will not be rented after Thursday, May 20th, 6 pm -- NO EXCEPTIONS. Those who need to exchange gowns for another size or need other assistance will be accommodated then as well.
