What is the Textbook Reservation Program?

SFSU Bookstore is pleased to offer this low-cost service to all of its students. This reservation program allows students to get their books early and avoid the back to school rush at the beginning of the Fall and Spring semesters. We will pull, ring up and box your books, so all you have to do is pick the books up when you arrive on campus.

Why Reserve Textbooks?

Reserving your textbooks is convenient because it saves you time and shipping costs. You won't have to search for your textbooks when you arrive on campus. They will be at the Bookstore boxed and waiting for you. Also by reserving your textbooks, you have the best chance of getting used books.

How Do I Reserve Textbooks?

You may reserve your textbooks by choosing your books from our site, then choose "Store Pickup," and proceed to checkout. If you would rather have your books shipped, then just choose one of the shipping methods listed. Be sure to provide your credit card information on the form on the website. We will only process your order upon credit card approval.

When does the Textbook Reservation Program start?

The Textbook Reservation Program starts a month before the beginning of Fall and Spring semesters and ends two days before the beginning of the semester.

Where and When can I pick up my textbooks?

All reservations will be available for pick up at the SFSU Bookstore Downtown Center. Located at 835 Market Street, 6th Floor. The online reservation will be distributed between 2pm and 7pm in room.
