No Stock / Out Of Stock

The Bookstore makes every effort to get books in a timely manner. However, due to backorders, delays at the publisher, new editions, or late ordering by the faculty, we may be temporarily out of stock on certain books. Our web site is updated on a regular basis, so as soon as we receive a shipment of books, they should be available for purchase on-line and in the Bookstore.

Note: Course packs, lab guides, map packets, and other custom printed material are generally not available in used condition.

Out of Stock, Substitution notice:

We will make every effort to fill your order as specified. However, in our effort to get you the materials needed for class in the most timely fashion, we will substitute new for used, or used for new, priced accordingly. If you do not want substitutions please state "NO SUBSTITUTIONS, FILL AS ORDERED" in the comments box on your order form.

Please note: There will be instances when the condition you have requested (new or used) will not be available for this semester. The "no substitution option" will result in the delay of processing your order.

Are you having trouble locating a course and/or section you think should be here? We can only order Textbooks once an order is placed. It works like this: We ask instructors, and their departments, to place their Textbook orders 3-4 months in advance. Once the instructor places an order we enter the order into our system. Then approximately 2 months before the semester begins, Textbooks begin arriving in store. The publishers need at least a month to process/ship Textbooks to our store. Please contact your department and/or professor and ask them about the textbooks for your class (there may actually be no textbooks for your class, we would not know unless the department/professor told us).
