NEW Textbook Refund Policy:
All Textbook returns now require a PROOF OF DROP of class (obtainable at the Student Services Building) in order to receive a full refund by the last day of returns (Spring - Friday, Feb 8th). A 10% restocking fee will be applied to refunds without Proof of Drop. All refunds and exchanges require an original receipt.

Early Adoption Program

Each department which submits 90% of its textbook adoptions for classes scheduled for Fall 2010 by April 15th will receive $750 from the SFSU Bookstore in the form of an SFSU Gift Card.



Best Practices of Departments who have timely textbook orders:

  • Please inform us that you are trying to reach the 90% on time goal, prior to the April 15th due date. We will help you get there by providing status updates
  • Please send us the class schedule for your department prior to the April 15th due date.
  • Please let us know any courses that don’t use textbooks, or use a source other than the SFSU Bookstore so that we can provide that information to your students.
  • Please ask us to provide you a list of classes and required textbooks for your department for Fall 2010. Use this as a guide to make textbook decisions for Fall 2010.
